Open a file or directory using VFS (VfsOpen)

This system call opens a file or directory at the specified path using the VFS layer.

§Arguments

  • trapframe.get_arg(0) - Pointer to the null-terminated path string
  • trapframe.get_arg(1) - Open flags (O_RDONLY, O_WRONLY, O_RDWR, etc.)
  • trapframe.get_arg(2) - File mode for creation (if applicable)

§Returns

  • Handle number on success
  • usize::MAX on error (file not found, permission denied, etc.)
